Service Policy


All rates are in Indian Rupees. Exchange rates for all international currencies will be based on the bank's/PayPal's rate of conversion applicable on the date we receive the payment.

  • CP - Accommodation & breakfast including.

  • MAP – Accommodation & breakfast, dinner included.

  • AP - Accommodation & three meals included.

  • Taxes are not included and are liable to change.

  • The rates are valid up to 15th June 2018.

  • There are no charges for children under 6 years of age, sharing with two adults.

  • All tariffs are subject to change without notice.

  • 50% in advance will be required at the time of booking.

  • Check-in time shall be 12:00 PM.

  • Check-out time shall be 10:00 AM.

  • Early check-in & late check-out are subject to availability.

  • Rates at the time of festive seasons are subject to change without prior notice.


    • For online advance safari permit booking, log on www.girlion.in (official website of Gujarat Forest Department). 100% of safari permits are online. You are requested to book an online permit for Jungle Safari/Gir Jungle Trail/Open Gipsy Safari in advance. To avoid inconvenience, you may also book Devaliya Safari Park permits online (Devaliya Safari is closed every Wednesday). Lion Signature shall not be responsible for the same. In monsoon season only Dewaliya Safari Park is open, and Gir Jungle Trail/Gipsy Safari is closed from 16th June to 15th Oct every year.

    A valid photo ID must be presented upon check-in. Identification proof accepted is a passport, driver’s licence or voters registration card.(Also Carry with child photo ID proof like a school ID, Aadhaar card, Passport, etc.)

    Due to the location of Lion Signature, pets are not permitted in Lion Signature/Hotel.

  • Max 02 children below 6 yrs. free sharing room with parents without extra bed.

  • All Children 7 to 12 yrs. will be charged. However, a maximum of one child's bed can be placed in a room.

  • Above 12 years are taken as an adult and charged as actual.

  • CHECK IN - 12:00 NOON
    Early arrival is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, reservation needs to be made starting from the previous night. All arrivals prior to 08:00 am are billed from the previous night.

  • CHECK OUT - 10:00 HOURS
    Late check-outs are available on request and subject to availability.

  • 25% of the room rate between 12:00 noon and 14:00 hours.

  • 50% of the room rate between 14:00 and 18:00 hours.

  • 100% of the room rate after 18:00 hours (subject to availability on the date of departure).

  • Lion Signature reserves the right to charge for the entire duration of stay in the event of an early departure.

    • A recent government notification requires guests to present proof of identity at the time of check-in. All guests are requested to carry with them the required document during their travel. (Driving License / Passport / Aadhar Card / Election Card).

    All bookings must be guaranteed at the time of reservation against advance payment or Authorized Travel Agency voucher. All major credit cards are accepted. For reservations guaranteed with a form of payment at time of booking, rooms are held until lodge check-out time the day following arrival. For reservations not guaranteed with a form of payment at time of booking, rooms are held until 16:00 hrs as per Lion Signature policy.

    Rates confirmed in USD may be converted to local currency by Lion Signature at your time of stay, based on the exchange rate used by the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations. Credit card charges are subject to additional currency conversions by banks or credit card companies, which are not within Lion Signature's control and may impact the amount charged to your credit card. Please contact Lion Signature if you have any questions.

  • Please note that electronic reservation confirmations are provided to you solely for your convenience and that we retain official records of our reservation transactions, including details of dates of stay and room rates. In the event of discrepancies, alterations, modifications, or variations between this confirmation and our official records, our official records shall control. Tampering with this confirmation to alter the room rate, or any other reservation information is strictly prohibited and may have legal consequences.

  • Effective 2nd October 2008, the Government has introduced a "No-Smoking" legislation for hotels, restaurants and all public places. As a consequence, smoking is prohibited in all parts of Lion Signature except in designated areas where smoking is permitted.

    • Lion Signature cottages are all non-smoking.

  • Non-arrival of the guest amounts to a no-show.

  • Reservation must be canceled 14 days prior to the date of arrival. In case of cancellation made within 14 days no refund.

  • For Diwali and X-Mas Reservation must be canceled 21 days prior to the date of arrival. In case of cancellation made within 21 days no refund.

  • For any type of cancellation 6.5% of standard dedication will be applicable as a transactions charge.

  • No Refund in case of road block, accidents, no show etc.

  • All Room reservations during Diwali and X-Mas season with advance payment will be accepted.

    • Holiday season supplement will be charged extra which is during Diwali and X-Mas season.
